Best article I have seen in quite a long time on mizeralized soil substrate. When I switch my next tank over to hi-tech from low-tech it will be with this soil instead of Flourite.

This takes care of all the macros and most the micros and has been found to cut down the need of dosing ferts in the water column to near nothing.
