I've had him for almost 5 years, got him at 3". He eats everything and anything that is fish food, sinking pellets, flakes that get to the bottom, frozen brine, frozen blood worm, frozen krill along with market shrimp, earth worms, silver sides and the occassional small live community type fish.

nice, i am going to be getting another soon. couldn't stay away from knifes. just got a rck and a ck a bit ago. almost got a bgk at the same time, but i didn't have a tank for it.
