I've seen those in operation and they are fairly impressive for their size. I like the simplicty of the AC filters but they leave a lot to be desired as far as bio-filtration goes.

I think people are just waist deep in marketing hype when they criticize the filter for the space it has for benebac. There's benebac all over your tank, not just your filter.

Imo take ANY hob filter over a canister.Canisters are a great big pita if you ask me.Unless its a showtank that you need a hidden filter for theres no good reason for a canister

Well it came today but it was leaky so I am shipping it out on tuesday and the replacemant should be here by the week after next.

I think you'd be better off replacing with an AC or a penguin
