Mini Com Tank?

Alright, well i know a 5gal is small.. but my parents would like to put our mini 5 gal tank in the middle of the dinning room table.. with fine sand.. 1 small peice of driftwood.. and 2-3 atractive fish that will live in it..

i know the choices are VERY small.. but what are there??

i was looking at Khuli loaches as being one?
(also mabey a smaller species that would take a while to grow out?)
since i have several bigger tanks..

cant have 3 guppies coz that would make 4 fish

i found a few loach species that only get to 1 inch.. so i could hav a small school 4-5. and its running a whisper that came with it..

white cloud minnows 3-4.

or thread fin rainbows, or celebe rainbows, or mini gourami one or some killi fish. all by itself, and few in numbers. the good thing about the white cloud minows are that you don't need a heater. or, one paradise fish or betta.

I think any good looking Betta tank that is 2.5-5 gallons is absolutely awesome. You could find one that isn't so commonly seen too in an effort to make it more unique.
