I think the mini cycle has arrived I have been expeting it. Nine days ago the intermittent leak I had on my oase biomaster 250 became a permanent leak .I replaced it with a eheim pro 4 plus 250 I transfered the media over and have been testing every 3 days so today I noticed 1.0 ppm amonia so dosed with prime. Now the only reasion I could think of is the oase had 4 trays 3 trays with coarce and fine foam's and 1 tray with media .My eheim has 2 trays one with the media from the oase and the seond tray with fresh media. I am thinking I am down on bacteria becasus the foams from the oase may have had a large amount of bateria in them which is now lost as I could not use them in the eheim .
