Hey guys, this tank finally finished its cycle and cleared up considerably. I had a bunch of extra filters, a heater, and some gravel so I figured I'd set up another tank. I'm running an ungergravel filter, whisper 20, and an AC20. I've also never thought algae looked so good, to hide the cheap, free quarry rocks that I used to make hiding places. I've got a pair of Brichardi and one blue colored african...not sure what he is for sure...

Anyone know how many brichardi will comfortably reside in a 20L?

What size tank is it? Looks good, like the black gravel.

Its a 20 long...so I wanted a species that would get too large but didn't want something too common...only reason the random blue one is in there is because I needed something to get the tank going, as brichardi are somewhat hard to find around here.

Here's the little blue guy:

Hope that helps.

He looks like a Pseudotropheus socolofi to me - Powder Blue Cichlid. Looks just like mine.

Nice looking tank. If you want some small spieces, you could try a couple of Demasoni's. They are expensive and mean, but they are beautiful and stay small.

Pseudotropheus but I unno looks kinda like the acei I used to have but then again the tail looks off for it. Scolofi could be a guess but I ve never seen a powder blue look that dark before... :nilly: I am so rusty with my fish now

Anyways nice set-up it looks good.

Thanks guys....my first shot at a rock tank. I'm using a 10000K zoo med ocean sun, just a standard tube. I was uncertain how a bright like would looks on such a dark tank. Turned out a lot better than thought, although it did take almost a month and a half to clear up. Could have been the rocks...

It looks like everybody can get some nice green algea in thier tank but me ?

What's up with that anyway ?

Nice tank by the way
thumbs up
