Mini Marble

Popped to Wharf Aquatics yesterday to pick a fish up for my brother and whilst there I spotted 3 Mini marbles in a tank. Turned out to be 2 males and 1 female so I quickly bagged the female.

Ive wanted one of these for a while now so was really pleased to find some. she was settled and feeding on Carnivore pellets within 1 hour of being in my tank

How can you tell it's a mini marble?

I've seen regular motoros that look like that.

This particular pup was born to a pair of mini Marbles we imported approx 3.5 years ago. These fish were the same size back then as they are today, in fact two of the girls that came in were gravid, both between 10-11" disc size and gave birth in the shop. I have a good relationship with the guy that bred these, he isn't a person that frequents forums but he is a very experienced aquarist, he has two pair of Flower rays too which again he bought from us.
The male in particular was stunning Steve, very dark but uniquely marked, he didn't have the typical spotting seen in most mini Marbles hence the confusion I think with the outer disc pattern, I can see where eklikwhoa is coming from, at this stage she does look like a typical Motoro but am here to assure you she is the real deal, this is one pup I 100% know the background too.
