After breeding and keeping cichlids a long time I'm starting messing with arowana. I have a pair of 7' 210's and I'm setting one up for a fry-8-12" tank then they will go in a 700 gallon ply tank once ready. So anyway I am already half way through the build so catching this thread up 2 weeks in 1 hour!20150919_144427.jpg

Drilled the 3 holes for the bean animal overflow I'm using 1.5" bulkheads and plumbing, took me 2 hours due to never drilling glass before and on 3rd hole drill was very worn out but all went well no chips or cracks20150921_143620.jpg

I cut greylite glass for overflow it is 1/4" and assembled it with black silicone, I will be painting the back of the tank black so it will look very clean

Installed the overflow in the tank turning out great so far happy I went with internal over external for this build20150921_161347.jpg

so the stand was already in my fish room but was raw 2x4 and what not so I wanted to build a "skin" for it I loved jc1119's build props for tank of the year! I wanted the front to be removable as his was also I fell in love with the simplicity of his sump that coming soon. I'm not happy with the church look of it as of now so going to restain trim and raised panel with ebony for some contrast

I was short 1 elbow for emergency standpipe into the sump, building canopy this week and installing lighting
