Planted 38g tank slightly acidic, what should I add? I'm rehousing the current inhabitants.

Depending on the dimensions and how much money you are willing to spend, might be good for a gulper catfish, asterophysus batrachus. They generally prefer between 6.5 and seven. They eat sort of like snakes, a lot but only once a week. Problem is that you literally cannot have any other fish with them, and they cost a lot of money.

its 36x12 so i think itd b alittle small dont they get up around 10-12?

They're the laziest, Goofiest fish ever...length would be fine, width might me a slight issue. I have 2 in a 40x20x30 and they barely use it.
