Feeder Fish

Still havn't decided on what fish to have, the main problem being the fish I like are hard to get off feeders, and I'm not 100% comfortable with using them personally.

The tank is a juwel rio 180. I would very much appriciate suggestions of fish that dont need to eat feeder fish...But, now here comes the contradiction I have some cherry red shrimp, that when the population gets too big, I am willing to 'let a few go'.
I really like pike top minnows, Belonesox belizanus etc. but read that they only eat live food.

So in summary, a smallish predatory fish that would eat prepared food(with shrimp as a treat). If its a solo fish, then I would like it to be interesting if possible.

Thanks ;)

Edit: Freshwater fish only please

No fish need feeders.

there are many fish that refuse to get off of feeder... like leaf fish

thats why you don't feed them feeders in the first place

i dont think that there is a fish out there that absolutely needs feeders
i have even seen some one feed piranhas flakes before

There are ways to get any fish to eat dead foods, as long as you have the patience.

well i was going to say the same thing about the feeder situation but for a 180 try breeding some O,s.

i know many people dont like oscar but i like them so u could try that......

or what about a bunch of african butterfly fish with some cats/loaches at the bottom

Then you haven't meet a leaf fish before, these guys will starve if they do not eat feeders. They might be able to eat worms and shrimp, but they must be live... non-live foods is not an option with these guys. Although I have not tried starting fry without feeders, I would presume that it is close to impossible as well.

How about a school of exodons, they will take frozen foods...
