Has anyone used these small dehumidifier that uses a peltier (no compressor)? They are only like $50 and I would like to get away with not spending $100-$200 on a regular dehumidifier and the small size would be great for my small fish room. I would be using this in a small 11' x 7' fishroom with about 15, 15g-75g tanks, almost all have lids and I will eventually have lids for all. Right the humidity is a small problem and I air out the about every two days but I think once I get a lid for my sump and two tanks without lids it shouldn't be much of a problem and a small dehumidifier should take care of it, if they work well. Also I plan on doing a little DYI (after I make sure it works well) by seeing if I can attach a hose that goes from the reservoir into a drain so I never have to empty it like my old large dehumidifier did.

Here is a link for one or them...

How much water do your tanks lose per day? It says its only rated to remove about 650mL or ~3 cups of water.

I know that my open top tanks lose far more than that so it wouldn't make a dent in that. If your tanks lose about that per day then I'd suppose it would help.
