I am wanting to set up a small indoor pond. It's a black tub that's about 3'x2'x8" approximately. Which It think is about 22 gallons. I want to keep a yellow bullhead catfish which will be pretty messy. I cannot use any of the HOB filters that I have because of the edges and how shallow it is. So I was thinking about a tetra whisper 40i in tank filter, would this be enough filtration and do you see any reason why it would not work? I also have a question about lighting for viewing. Because the catfish like low light I will not leave it on all day. But will a regular light fixture just cause reflection from the surface making it even harder to view?
