Hey all, I'm a fresh-water keeper but I'm considering going in for a micro-reef with a GDME as the centerpiece. I know NOTHING of reefs but what I'm gleaming from sites, and I'd like some advice from people regarding what I want to do and at the absolute dumbell level.

Basically I want to have a 10g mini reef with a single moray and possibly a couple other small compatiable fish/inverts/whatever.

I know nothing of saltwater. Protein skimmers, sumps, nothing but words.

Anyone want to give me a backbone idea of how to go about this?

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems these eels need a much bigger tank. I have no idea how to delete threads and I can't find anyplace that says how.

Always wanted one but they're too expensive. You'll need a larger tank better off with a 15 or 20gal tall, smaller reefs require more attention on your part due to less water volume. An eel is one thing a reef is whole other game. Do your homework on nano reefs before you dive in or it will cost you money, time and some of your hair if you encounter a situation your not prepared for
