Sadly due to the lack of time, I could not get the 200x60x65cm tank, however i do have a 33 gallon (80x35x45cm) tank, would it be okay, for a sternarchorhynchus mendesi? (usually 17-19cm). I heared they are quite adaptable and friendly. Tipps are appreciated. Here is a photo of the tank, in case the tipps have something to do with the scape. It would be greatly appreciated. I am also getting more hornwort for coverage.

Current Stock: 7x Corydoras Arcuatus, 4x Tylomania, 1x Hitchhiker Ramshorn Snail (pink quartz)

I would go for dark wallpaper, those fish are from murky waters, they don't like bright tanks. The size of the aquarium is fine. I had a 20 cm gymnotus carapo in a 125 liter tank.

Thanks for the tipps! Yeah the light is fairly bright, the thing is, most wallpapers in my area, are either the crappy stereotypical ocean-like, or are just made for nano tanks. I am trying to dim the lights naturally through hornwort (trying to buy more of them).

Wallpapers are similar all over Europe, you can also put your own dark foil there.

I added leaf litter and some more hornwort. Also there are shaded areas, which are not visible on the photo, and on the left there is a cave and on the right on the wood there is a cave cluster, which you can soo of the second photo.
