So I have an extremely minor ich outbreak, just 1-2 spots on two of the fish. It will not heal up. Ive been at 86 degrees with .2% salt for 5 days now. Water is pristine, system is 180 gallon. All fish are eating and swimming just fine. Coloration on all fish is stunning. Growth rates are awesome. Any ideas on these rogue spots?
Stock list:
3 x EBJD
4 x Severum
2 x Gold Saum
5 x Blood Parrot
1 x Bristle Nose
1 x Rubber Lip
Parameters:
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrites: 0 ppm
Nitrates: <= 10 ppm
PH: 7.5
Ph is a little high but has been stable since thee tank finished cycling months ago.
The severums are the only ones showing spots. Every now and then the other fish will flash, but we are talking once every couple of days. And we spend a lot of time observing.
I plan on only keeping one Gold Saum and 2 EBJD in the long run aggression permitting.
Most fish are 3-4" and there are no damages due to aggression as of yet.
