what size tank do i need for rays. the maximum width I can do is 2foot. i can do a 2x6 tank in the area I have. is that big enough for a single ray with a couple sa cichlids?

well there is one out of there that I would be able to keep... but it's hard to find. dang. you think there is anyone on here that would have a Potamotrygon Scobina for sale?

wait and see....keep a eye out for one...you'll find one.

guess I'll have to. it's the only way I'll be able to keep one and for this house it would seem odd if it didn't have something just amazing in it.

a whole lot of people here build tanks/ponds for there rays. that is why we stay monster, not trying, because we are. where ever there's a will, there's a way.

wanna be technical.....a6' or 8'x3' foot print is needed ;)

i gave up. i can't keep fish worth anything anyways. i need more experience with cheaper fish before i do anything like rays. heck my anemone died in a quarantine tank an hour ago. that might have been because it was bad from the store, but still i don't like it.

and rays with cichlids ... are generally a no no... cichlids like to go for the eyes of rays or pick at the disk

I keep peacock bass (which are cichlids) with my rays, no problems so far. But I have heard that other types of cichlids and plecos are not good with rays.
