minimum number of discus?

What is the minimum number of discus that should be in a tank? I have a 60gal with a Synodontis ocellifer and a sailfin pleco at the moment. Would two be too few, or should there be more? we plan on having a few other species besides discus in with the other two.

i'd get the pleco out they can suck on the side of your discus and i have 4 in a 55 they seem very happy together
