I am thinking about adding a bullhead catfish to my tank, and I wanted to know what would be the minimum temperature I could put my tank at to keep the bullhead happy and keep the cichlids in good condition. Right now, I have a zonata, bifasciatus, jack dempsey, grammodes, septemfaciatum, and tiger pleco in the tank. How low can I go you think while keeping them all happy?

you are trying to keep tropical fish with temperate fish. not such a great idea.
i am sure the bullhead can live in temperatures of 75-80F no problem. better warmer than colder.

i wouoldnt drop below say 24 degrees celcius...the safe zone for cich's is 23-28 :) well...that's waht this book/mag flyer said..lol

dont know bout the minimum, but my cichlids survived 34+ deg last year, and were X-tremely aggressive in that period. I've heard texas cichlid can survive at 15deg C
