I am looking at tanks right now for a high end display tank in my parent's house and I would like to have a motoro ray in if I can. I am looking at a 6x2 footprint. would that be enough or would it need to bigger. if it's not is there a ray that is small enough to be kept in that size of a tank?

I think a minimum for life would be 6'x3' or bigger.. They should have 6'+ in length and 2.5'+ in width.. Most people say ideal is 8'x3'..

8x4 for an adult.... or a large round pond....

ok. how about reticulated? I read the sticky, but that wasn't on there

8'x3' is perfect for adult rays... but you have many years in a 180 6x2x2....

I rather keep em in a tank. :)
