Minimum Tank Footprint for Male Dovii

I have a 135Gal tank, with a 60Gal sump; summing in a 195Gal system.

I am starting to consider keeping 1 lone Male Dovii. The footprint of the tank is 72"L x 21"W x 21"T (just measured), think it's possible?
 
a 72x21x21 would be fine, good luck with your dovii:)
 
Agree... I would keep an eye on him years down the road though as you might get lucky and grow one close to 21" or over.. Although the only 21" I've seen was in japan and grew in a 48x24... Bet their water quality is 10 times what ours is though.

we have a 22"er on this site, check the 15K gallon aquarium stock list, nice male dovii, and i've seen a couple from cichlid madness, get to 22", but other than that, nothing capive grown.
 
yeah but I haven't seen the one in the 50k gallon next to a measuring stick.. lol

but yeah most won't get over 19" or so.. if it does it's old..
