What would you consider the minimum tank size for a male midas i am looking for a wet pet for my 48x18x18.

That size would be fine for a male Midas for quite some time. After several years of growth they can reach 14-15" in total length, and an upgrade might be appreciated.

Thanks i will look for a midas today.

65g is what I hear as a minimum for these guys. Looks like you're good to go!

You have a 75 gallon, which is perfect for a solo Midas.

Although not a 75g(a few inches shorter then) the tank would be fine for a MIDAS.

Thanks for advice i bought a midas today i am not sure if its male or female heres a short video anyone know what sex it is? excuse the murky water it should clean up by tomorrow. I am hoping the white rock will keep the ph around neutral or slightly alkaline.
