minimum tank size

hi ihave a 9 inch girafe catfish and am starting to think about building a pond for him i have limited space so am wondering if a 6x3x2 pond would be big enough if not how big will i need to make it

It will get to about 38", and you will need at least a 150 Gallon, but a larger tank is recommended.

i'd do like 8'x4'x3' then you could put somehting in with it and it will have some room to swim around

if you got a Auchenoglanis occidentalis then no , but if you have a Auchenoglanis biscutatus what grow around 60cm you be fine.

It should be ok, but not for life, mines around 11" now and im gonna have to move him out to the 1300ltr pond at some point soon as hes getting a bit too big for the 6x2x2
