Well... i was in the stingray section trying to find so intersting tank mates for the possible silver aros and longnose gars im going to get. And this ass**** who lashing out on everyone on my thread about their fish keeping ability, but he said that a silver aro wouldnt be fine in a 3' wide tank for life.

What im making sure is that i can keep a silver aro in can go in a 3' wide tank for life.

I thought that the bare minimum for silver aros is like 1/3 of their length, because there such flexible fish, lol i no this is probably wrong, but thats just what i heard.

But i would never keep a fish in those conditions, but i think a 3' would be fine for an silver aro, but if its not let me know

like i said before that rude guy spoke,I have several huge arowanas in that size tank and they are in great shape and seem extremely happy.

3' wide and 9' long should be adequate for life

i know wat the guys problem.......

hes not a guy :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL: sorry the off topic but i thought it would be funny

well i think that arowanas would do great in a 3 foot wide tank. if they become the monster 48 inches that we all know and love they would perfer a 4 or more foot wide tank.

hey atleast i answerd the question!

haha alright, jw here, but would that extra foot to make it 9' make a big difference? Cause the tank that i found is only 8' and idk if i can find a bigger one
