what is the minimum tank size needed to properly keep a jardini? will it live comfortable in a 75 gal? i only have 2 75 gals. at home and i cannot add another tank because i dont have space at home... what fish can i keep in a 75 gal? thank you....

there is a sticky about this
or google
frankly, 75 gallon is not enough for a jardinii, no way
maybe for half a year pushin to one year but really, its too small.

a jardinii gets to 2 foot potentially

you really need a very large tank.

its not just volume, its dimensions.

i reckon 6 foot by 80 cms front to back and 60 cms high.

I would say 180 minimum, 6x2x2. Bigger is always better. I once saw a full grown silver aro in a 75g at a local pawn shop and it was a sad site. I told the owner he should give it away or call one of the hotels like the Sheraton which has a huge pond and donate it.

Then why are you housing a silver in a 125? Dont silvers get bigger than jars?

silvers get bigger than jars. that's a fact. silvers are the biggest and longest among all aro species.

Yawn! not tank size again. Big as you can, no less than 60 inches by 30 inches. (should be another 30 inches long if its a silver aro.)
