Hey everyone, I know a lot of you don't know me, but I post quite a bit over in the piranha forum, and I just wanted to get this out there... I hope everyone that reads this can make a bit of room in their nightly prayers or at least find it in their hearts to put these people in their thoughts.

I wrote this, so it probably isn't the best, thanks a bunch folks....

I really don't know how to go about this, but I'm sure alot of the people around here have heard about the charter bus that rolled over on I 94 near Albertville in Minnesota and it may have even made some of the national newscasts.

Early Saturday morning, one of the two buses carrying high school students from the Pelican Rapids High School band that were returning from a concert in Chicago rolled over sending many students to the hospital, thankfully most of those students will be ok, but one of those students wasn't lucky enough to walk away from the accident, a 16 year old girl named Jessica Weishair won't be one of the many students receiveing a hug from her worried parents. Pelican Rapids is my hometown, most of my family still lives in or around this town, and my heart goes out to the small community that is home to many sleepless residents on a night like tonight.

I would like to be the first person on this site to extend my condolences to the Weishair family, I know Kim Weishair (Jessica's father) personally and this tragedy could not have befallen a better person. Kim Weishair is a man who upon meeting, you feel like you have known for years, as proven by the outreach of the many people who have come together in this time of mourning. I don't think that anyone will disagree with the fact that the death of a sixteen year old, regardless of the circumstances, is a horrible event, but i would like to ask everyone on this site to hold the Weishair family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for your time everyone, it's been a tough day...

We do have a lot of members from Minnesota.... I feel for her family, all of the other families who had to wait to find out if their kid(s) was (were) alive, your town, you, and most of all her.

They're in my thoughts.

thanks everyone, the more comments, the better. i'll see what i can do about contacting the local paper to show our support, i know that this will mean alot for this town.

Our condolences to the families.

I just saw this story on CNN. It is always sad when young people leave this world early. It is even harder when something happens suddenly. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families who have had a child killed or injured in this accident.

They are definetely in my prayers.

Just the fact that they live in a small town, makes the accident oh so tragic.

I live in a small town (Pop. 3000 at most) were it seems everyone knows everyone.
