Minnesota native keepers

Does anyone in Minnesota want to do a collection trip this summer, or even just a fishing trip?

I don't know how to fish with a rod, so I think someone would need to show me how. I only know how to fish with a net.

Also, if anyone wants some large goldfish for their pond, I know where to collect them. Some idiot released goldfish in a pond nearby, so there's plenty of them ripe for the taking. It's a bit of a walk into the woods to get there, but the scenery alone is well worth the walk.

I don't live in Minnesota but I WOULD love to do a fishing or fish collecting trip some day in NY. I don't think there are that many NY members though. There seem to be a lot from Minnesota though.

I collect all my natives on my parents lakeshore property. Bass, Iowa Darters, Bullheads, killifish, chubs, fatheads, etc. Never seen so many different fish. Thats how I got into natives, by throwing out a minnow trap.
