Minnow Trap bait

Hey everyone.

Does anyone know of any household food or something that you could put in the minnow trap for them to come? I tried krill but that didn't work.. Anyone got any ideas? I am hopping to catch a baby gar pike. Thanks

believe it or not ive heard of bubble gum being good, because they wont eat it and it stays together never tried it though. good thread i need the same info.

I have had best luck on dog food and I hear that if you take canned cat food and just poke holes in the top of it and set it in there that they go crazy for it!

I always use soup crackers. They stay together pretty well and attract plenty of fish. I usually am looking for minnows though. MAke sure to give that pot plenty of soak. LOL

Wet cat food with some holes in the top. It works wonders!!!
