i would like some suggestions for new bait in a minnow trap going for emerald shiners

oh def. crushed crackers. Shinners love crackers let the trap set for an hour with the crushed crackers in it then check, and put more crackers in it. lol plain and simple

i like to take my ice fishing rods and use staples that we made into hooks with small chunks of crawler and pitch it into the school...get one every 2 seconds...
