Hi what is the mimum tank size for a fully grown FH to live happily?
thanks

i hear that a 75 would be the min...i ask that same thing...i was going to get one but i decided to get a polypterus delhezi which ill have him friday about 4"or 5"...

I would shoot for a 90g but yes a 75g will work. :)

I've heard that a 90G 3x2x2 tank is the best for a single flowerhorn. I have never kept one, but I'm thinking of getting one when I get my big tank in about a month... (I currently have a 3x2x2)

how long would one be ok in a 32"x18x18 for?

Here In the Philippines, we commonly use 50gal tanks for mature FHs. But quite a few also use 75gal and 100gal tanks, really depends on the availabilty of space for most users. I've seen one that's 200gal but holds only one fish. I've also seen one 400gal custom made square shaped tank divided into four cubes each with one fish.

Yeap a 75 gallon is great for one. Same requirements as Midas/Trimacs etc. Some breeds can hit 18"...
