Has anyone used mirrors in fish tanks? I read somewhere that you can put two tanks next to each other and it can keep the fish occupied ie, less aggressive or destructive.
I dont have either of those problems, and I have a 10g feeder next to my 55g and the fish in the 55 def check out the 10 all the time.
Somewhere I am pretty sure I read about putting a mirror on a tank and it can do the same thing. So I was thinking of using mirror window tint on the back panel of my tank. I think it would look cool, and you could see behind everything. My only concern would be that the fish would think there is another of their same breed that looks a lot like them so they may attack the "other fish" haha. I think it would look sweet, but I really dont want to do it, fill the tank back up and then have to empty it just to take the tint off again...
