Misc Cichlid/African Tank - ID help please

Here is my tank, with Africans and "Others".

Can you guys help out with ID, as I bought most of these guys from "Mom and Pop" stores here in NYC.

Not sure what the Blue fish (Hap?) is and the ??Geo???

Can you guys tell what the JD is? Male or Female?

Everyone gave me crap for having an earth eater like yours with my Africans but he is doing fine. Is that a Jack Dempsey in there? That could be a big problem later each one has its own personality but keep a close eye on him. I had one that was totally fine with my other fish then one night murdered my favorite bichir and also killed a Blue Acara the same size as him.

Your blue fish is a Sciaenochromis fryeri, aka electric blue hap ahli. The JD is hard to tell from you picture if it is a male or female. The female usually have more blue on the gill plate and the blue kinds of run more together. Sorry can't help you with the geo.

Yes I have one of them as well, but you must watch him. Mine killed my Siamese fighter and some red eye tetras.
