Miserable Gold Gourami!

I gave my gold gourami away to my brother because it is a big jerk and food hog and my tank would be OS with him. He's miserable in my brother's 10 gallon tank because it's so small and he's banging up against the walls like he's trying to commit suicide!

I don't want him to be miserable, but I don't like him, and I don't know what to do! He was from my 29 gal with 5 cories, 5 black skirts, 5 zebra danios, and 3 bettas. What should I do?

I don't know if I want to bring him to the LFS because... what if a stupid person puts him in their 2 gallon tank with an oscar and then he suffers of ammonia poisoning! And I don't have money for a new tank, so...

then that right there is probably the main problem...try doing a water change & getting the 10gallon cleaned up...what other fish r in there with it & how large is the gourami?

Gourami= 2 1/2 in.

The other fish are a few glolight tetras.

What an imagination. Taking him to the LFS is the best thing. If ya like I'll take him and put him in my 65g tank
