Hello all,
It happened again! I went to a fish store and saw a struggling fish and of course... I got it. He is missing an eye but other than that seems fine. He is currently in a quarantine tank being treated with meds but I was wondering what you all would suggest to do? He swims fine, is eating, etc. It's just his eye. Is there anything I can do to give him a better chance? Thanks!
ps not putting water parameters on here because I know theyre fine and have already tested them.

Not much. Provide some good food. Just don’t put it with fish that’ll out compete it for food.

I have a common pleco that is missing both his eyes and has been in that state for years. Seems that African cichlids see them as food. Other than the obvious missing feature the fish seems fine. Finds food with seemingly no problem.
