Missing gar

Hello this morning while getting ready for school I looked into my tank to find my 3" Florida gar missing. I looked at my 6" clown knife and he doesn't have a full belly so I'm thinking my catfish but he is only 4" any idea?

All depends on the type of cat

If the cat is a rtc or tsn they probably get eat it lol those things can eat anything

Do you have a background in the tank? How is the decoration? Are there hiding places?

Could the gar have jumped out? Gars are known jumpers.

3 inches is still small probably hiding. How long have u had it?

If its not in the tank your rtc ate it... When something goes missing in a rtc and or tsn tank just assume it was eaten

a 3" gar is a tiny skinny little thing. Easy meal for that catfish or clown knife and wouldnt make their stomach that much larger.

You would be suprised what a decent sized clown knife can swallow, if he ate it during the night there wouldnt be much of abump in his belly left over in the morning. I fed mine last night till hehad anice buldge going on, and this morning hewas totaly flat again.
