I have a 150g with ...
15 aratus
7 tropheus red moliro
3 red top zebra
3 afra mara lion
3 auroura
2 big pleco
1 spotted catfish (7")
1 JD ( 3-4")

So the other day my wifey went out with my young son and purchased a dragon goby (7-8") and dropped him in the tank.......After a long discussion about NOT putting any fish in my tank without first telling me I said that he should probably be in his own tank in my son's room....Problem is since the first night I haven't seen him... As you can see from the pic I have a lot of hiding spaces in the tank... I don't know much about Gobys...Do they usually hide? Are they nocturnal?? I'm starting to worry about his whereabouts... Could the catfish eat him? Is there anything I can do to draw him out?

he is just hiding i had one he will probaly die for not eating, those fish are a pain in the but they have trouble finding food. you almost have to hit them in the head with the pellets. they have poor vision, and they dont move around alot either. getting him to eat in a tank with all those hideing places is going to be real hard.

you probaly wont see him anytime soon, but yet again he might come out. gl

If you can find it, pull it out and move it to it's own tank at the first chance you get. They really need to be in a tank by themselves, or with other similar fish. First of all, they require brackish water. Otherwise they are very hard to get to eat and will usually die from some skin condition. Second, they are noctournal and can't see very well, so they probably won't get a chance at any food before those africans gobble it up.
