came home today to my Cubans pectoral fin rippped off. Or at least missing. Otherwise In good shape. Swimming fine and eating. Color is still good. Water perimeters are all good. Any thoughts? I guess he tried to steal one of the larger tropicals meal.

Yes what you stated about the other car snagging the fin.
Think it’ll grow back?? I’ve had plenty of fish get frayed fins from either aggression or unfortunately, water quality mishaps. Those grow back. But this is ripped off completely. Just the two outside bones sticking out.

Well good news. He’s growing back that fin nicely. I thought it wouldn’t since there was nothing left visibly.

I ended up taking him out of the 350g and putting him alone in a 75g. Since, his color has turned from very dark to a beautiful gold like I always thought would be the coloration of Cubans. Maybe grown some. I need to measure. But his confidence is way up and feeding great on cut fish and pellets.

I’ll get some pics soon
