mississippi map turtle basking question..

If I have a basking area that's about 85 degrees with a infared heat bulb on 24/7 and then a uvb bulb on 12-14 hours a day would that be a nice set up? Thanks for any anwsers..

Basking light only needs to be on 12 or so hours a day, they don't bask while they sleep so why have it on, and just leave the uvb on at the same time as the basking bulb.

Oh....haha well that makes sense..I just didn't know if it would be to cold without it on at night..ill just put them on the same time period then..thanks a lot!
