Bought two 4.5" to 5" datnoids several weeks ago. They are my first dats. But after some more research the thought to be IT datnoids are actually NTT. I don't know if I should be upset by this or not? Lol, But I'll post some pictures tomorrow for some confirmation.

Besides SDS what are some other things I should keep an eye out.

I wouldnt be upset mate but ive noticed my NTT are less outgoing or more shy than my little ITs.
Pics would be nice.

Bought a new camera today! It's the Canon T1i! Really happy about it but as it's my first DSLR I'm not really good lol. I thought I should finally put some pics up.

Here's the better looking of the 2 NTT I have. This ones larger and stable compared the other and comes out to play when he thinks I'm going to feed! Sorry about the cloudy water, another minor algae bloom :|

Some tips for taking photos are kindly accepted :D

That's a very nice NTT you got there. In my experience the more you have the more they will be out and about. I would recommend you add a few more so you don't have one just picking on the other. At that size you shouldn't be suffering from SDS but it's been known to happen to bigger NTT's from time to time. Congrats on the new fish.

You've got nothing to be upset about. That's a really clean NTT. Judging by the numbers of fish i see here in Thailand NTTs are rarer than ITs. There are a lot more ITs here than NTTs and NTTs are caught in Thailand.
