How is this achieved through air stones?

I believe wooden air stones will give you very fine bubbles, I could be wrong but...

Are you thinking of atomizers for co2? I dont see why they can't be driven by an air pump.

I've tried wooden air stones and it gives me the same effect as those round disc airstones. Looking for that most people have in some YouTube videos. If you search aquarium air diffuser or something.

No risk of gas bubble disease? Seems the fish might have issues if those flow through their gills.

Never tried it myself, so I might be all wrong, but why would this be safe?
