Is it oK to put my red organda in my 120g cichlid tank. I have 2 oscars, 1 rt, 1 midas, 1 fm, 2GTs and 1 peco there. I want to use my gold fish tank for a arowana. I was told it is not good to mix Gold with aro, I can not put him in my pirahans tank either. So I wonder if it is good for him to be in a cichilid tank.

Nope. All those beautiful fins will be gone. Then the cichlids will have there way and eat the oranda

well most likely those cichlids will probably terrorize the goldfish if it enters one of your cichlids territory...may just find your goldfish floating or just chewed up to full extent of its whole body being eatin but the cichlids when they find it dead....How big is it approxiamately? What about your cichlids size?...you could just buy a 30,40,even a 55 gallon for your goldfish to live in....doesnt have to be a large aquarium for 1 goldfish...think about it first and think it through on your next move
yeah i'd say do not put the goldfish in with cichlids they will totally dominate it, hold off and get the goldfish its own decent sized tank, then look into an arowana.
There is also the issue of water conditions (temp, etc...) The only time I ever put goldfish in my tanks they are for feeders.
