i have 2 endlis about 14"+ that i'd like to mix with my 2' slvr aro. my question is would i be taking a risk? really don't want to loose my endlis...

It should be okay. I have some 20" long asian aros with some 8" albino sene for many years now.

That's what I like about bichirs. Not many fish will eat them.
