im thinkin 1 silver 1 black 1 jardini 1 leicharti in 100 gallon growout tank. will that work or will they still fight? later on they will be transfered to a 300 gal wiht

with mixing of aros, there will always be chances that they'll fight..as long as they dont result in serious injuries, some torn fins or dropped scales are just part n parcel of aro community tanks..
one thing that seem to help, having powerheads dat drive strong jets of water ard the tank will help breakup fights..and i know of ppl who use dat initially and switch it off after 1 month or so, the aros found peace and never fought after dat..worth a shot..

:iagree: Use some strong powerheads. If you wanna do an aro com tank, it should be at the minimum of 5-6 aros in a tank at same sizes.

hrmm soo as long as i have 5 aros and a powerhead. doesnt matter what kinda of aros then i shoudl be fine??? but will a 300 gall house 5 adult aros?! including other fishes

I think a 300 gal is too small for 5 full grown aros.

300 is good as long as your filtration can match up with the 5 aros(overfiltration). and to have a peace of mind, dont throw in a jardini or leic in your tank with other aros, just echoing what delgado already said. GL

supposedly the more you have the liss likely they are to fight

Try it out!! I want to see pic's of this when you do it!! It's your money! & Good luck!!
