Mixed CA tank ?

Stocked with Jack Dempsey, Convict, Jewel, Firemouth, 2 Pictus Cats, and Pleco.
I have Amazon Sword as my plant. Looking to add Jave Fern and one more top cover plant. Any suggestions on what may work with these fish?

in terms of fish, the species seem compatible...if you want to add another cichlid, I'd go with something small yet robust...perhaps even a large buffalohead if you want another african in there

Its a 55 gallon with a 55 Aqueon HOB filter and a 29 gallon sump wet/dry filter. I think I'm good on Cichlids, I would like to add a schooling fish though. I tried Tiger Barbs but they were getting fin nipped pretty good so I removed them. I was told Giant Dianos might work but they don't appeal to me. Mainly I want to add some more plants for cover before adding the schooling fish though.

I believe that your supposed to take the plants out of the pot they came in. If you dont want to bury in the sand you could try attaching to bog wood or a porous rock ie lace..

looks good..I wouldnt add anything else to the 55 gallon tank if it was a 125 like I thought it was then maybe,but not a 55 you might have to minus a fish here and there in the future due to space issues.
