Just some newer ones from the South American tank.

My favorite little angel, the leopard:

Apisto bita male (very hard to get decent shots of!)

I've had three blue Rams in there for a couple months now, and though they're very healthy, they are very lacking in ram colouring (and yet, they were still the best I could find in town!). Here's a couple shots of the present dominant ram:

However, at the LFS today, I noticed they had a new shipment of rams in, and these guys are MUCH better looking. Much darker, proper markings, lots of blue shimmer...still not the greatest quality, but I'm much happier with these guys now. The flash washes them out quite a bit, working on getting some less-reflective pics. Plus, they've only been in the tank for about 15 minutes, so they're a little stressed still. Anyway, where's what I've managed to get so far:

(Notice the older fish in the background, much less colour)

Very nice fish.

I like that angel. I would get maybe another one like it to put in the same tank if they are still available. Nice ram too, and hooray for good photos!

ive had the same problem with rams. even though i would get brighter new ones, they always went dull. maybe a lot of other larger fish scares them? im not sure. i also cant keep them alive for longer than a year

Thanks all. Loach, I will likely add a few more of the leopard angels shortly, but my LFS has them in regularily, so I don't have to rush - yay :) JCA, we'll have to see how these guys uphold their colour...they're in a tank with 6 rams, 2 apistos, 3 cories, 3 rosy barbs as dithers, 3 angels that are only about 1.5" right now, a juvenile Geo who is about 3", and the two biggest are my sev's. The male is about 7", the female is about 4". They all get alone great, so we'll see after the new rams have been in there for more than like 14 hours, how they do.
