what are the odds of fighting from an RTG thats been established as the only aro in a 300g..and i want to place a 14'' black...think they'll be ok for life if i have some tankmates? maybe throw in 1 silver as well? Ive seen chili and blacks..seems like htey never fight...

It is a risky idea, but its not impossible.
Divide the tank first with a glass or clear acrylic. Let the RTG get used to the idea of having another arowana in the tank. After a few weeks try to let the divider go and see what happens. Ive used this method several times before with success. Also adding larger schooling fish like Tin foils or Bala Sharks also helps distract them.

I thin most likely but not definitely it will work becuase I was able to mix my 7" green with a monster 18" silver.
