hi im not sure where this show go but i was wondering if i could put a 3inc rapheal cat with a 11in tiger oscar the tank is 100 gal?? thanks

Make sure the cat has enough hiding spots. Mine never comes out from under his rocks anyway.

Raphael cats are very, very tough. I would be interested in what would happen even if your 11" Oscar tried to munch on a 3" Raph.
Boney, spikey little guys.

Give the cat places to hide. They like to be under things anyway. You don't want the Oscar to eat it. You could lose both fish instead of one. Raphael's fan out their fins when agitated. The Raphael could lodge itself in the Oscar's mouth or throat, killing both fish at the same time. My Rapahel isn't bothered by my fish. They leave him alone. They are cool cats!

agree with above, if the Tiger goes after the catfish, you lose both ... seen it happen with pictus cats ...

thanks this helps, when i end up putting them together ill try to remember to post it and to let ya know if it worked out

i've got two raphaels about 4 inches with assorted african cichlids between 3 to 8 inches in a 200 gallon... it's been a few years, the cichlids do not bother the raphaels... they come out only during feeding time...
