How long after i mix should i test and add fish?

if your trying to make brackish water you need to use marine salt, like instant ocean. mix it in and let it sit for about an hour, then test it. once you have your fish in the tank be sure to add the salt into a bucket with water and let it sit your about an hour before you pour it into your tank.
