Mixing aros

i have a jar and was wondering if it would be a good idea to mix it with a black and albino one.

im personal experienced no not a good ideas...you can mixed them when they young, but once the jar hit 10-12" thats when the become the real killer. You can mixed anything just not the jar. It can be done short time, but not for very long.

Was thinking about adding them twice the size of the jar but idk if they will kill the jar at that size

You are gambling when adding other species of free swimming fish with a jar. I have heard even less success with other arowanas.

However, most don't mind bottom dwellers like catfish and bichirs. A much safer alternative.

The jar will eventually kill the others or at least badly damage them , that is if it displays typical jardini behaviour and most of them do you've got to get really lucky to find a placid one
