I have an a. robertsoni, a. altifrons and a. rostratus and hoping to mix them all in the future in a 125g tank. I have the alti and rostratus in a 72g right now and they are both about 2-3''. Right now I am having problems with the rosratus beating the crap out of the alti. I may have to move the alti. Am I am going to have problems mixing all of these guys in the future?

Yes, you probably will have issues in the 125g. How many of each do you have? You have to remember that these are all fish that will get decent sized and typically all hate each other. The altifrons are by far one of the weekest of the group and will probably always get picked on by the others.

I have one of each. I am a bit suprised about the a. rostratus, because they are suposed to be one of the most peaceful CA cichlids. They all get 7-8'' full grown right? My female robertsoni is 7'' and hasn't grown any larger in a year. Not sure on the sex on the other two, because they are too young. Any suggestions on what I can do with these fish? Bigger tank?
