Currently have an ornate about 12-14 inches. Want to add a couple of senegals about 7-8 inches. Any foreseeable problems. Also have several plecos in tank but never been an issue for ornate.

that might be too much of a size difference, expecially with an ornate (I hear they're more agressive than most) but don't take that for scripture.

Bump for some more opinions

Should be ok but have a spare tank ready just in case. Is your tank pretty big?

They would be going in a 120 60x18

The senegals are used to living with a larger BGK and aro.

I personally would not do it. If the ornate tried to eat your sengals you will end up with 2 dead bichirs instead of 1. Use common sense.:)

should be fine theres not to much of a size difference there

So far tied at two yes and two no.

I have Senegalus 2 with a 19 inch ornate and 2 24 inch Endlicheri and a 14 inch Delhezi and 2 ropes 12 inches for 9 months the Senegalus play with Ornate swimming all around her.
